Chocolate chip cookies
A recipe by Nigella Lawson
125g butter (unsalted)
75g brown sugar
50g white sugar
150g flour, shifted with…
30g cocoa
125g dark chocolate (melted and cool)
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
vanilla, chocolate chips
1 cold egg
1. Cream butter and sugar till light and creamy. (The original recipe was too sweet for me, so i used 25g of white sugar and 50g of brown sugar)
2. Add in melted chocolate.
3. Crack in 1 cold egg, mix it well.
4. Stir in chocolate chips and flour. Roll mixture into logs and keep them in the freezer overnight. Cut the logs about 1/2 inch thick and back for 15 minutes at 170 degree C.
5. Allow cookies to cool on the baking tray for 2-3 minutes before transferring them to the cooling rack.
